They say the secret is in the sauce, but in this case, it is definitely in the pan-fried pork chop! Moist and tender on the inside with a crispy and golden exterior, the thin, bone-in pork chop is topped with lightly caramelized onions and enjoyed between two brioche buns slathered with mustard and mayo.
Spruce up your sandwich with sport peppers if you’d like, or add them on the side and enjoy as is. Either way, it will be delicious.

For a kick of added flavor, put some of the onion mixture on the bottom bun when assembling your sandwich.
Traditional pork chop sandwiches use bone-in pork chops, but you can use boneless chops for easy eating.
What to Serve With Pork Chop Sandwiches
This sandwich is a crowd-pleaser on its own, but you can also serve it with potato chips and pickle spears. Coleslaw and potato salad or fresh fruit would also make excellent sides.
How to Store Pork Chop Sandwiches
We don’t recommend freezing leftover sandwiches or components, but an assembled sandwich can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container or Ziploc bag for up to 3 days. Simply wrap in a paper towel and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds when you’re ready to eat.
Unassembled sandwich components – like pork chops or onions – can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 5 days. In the microwave, heat for 30 seconds or until heated through.

Barbecue sauce is almost always welcome on a pulled pork sandwich. Choose between any barbecue sauce you enjoy, such as Carolina style, Kansas City style, or Texas style. You can also create your own sauce and add more sweetness or heat to fit your preferences.
Rich, creamy cheeses work well. We like to use an extra sharp cheddar that holds up to the pork flavor or we sometimes will use a Jack cheese or mozzarella that adds stringy, gooey, delicious texture and flavor. And by the way, we have totally used that weird canned nacho cheese, too.
Like steak or chicken, pork also needs a lot of salt to bring out all the flavor. If you really want to be fancy, you can brine the pork chops in some salt water (season it with other stuff like whole peppercorns and bay leaves). 2. COOK 'EM KINDA LOW AND KINDA SLOW.
Brining pork chops is one of the best ways way to guarantee a juicy cooked pork chop. Even a quick 30-minute brine (or up to four hours) makes a big difference. It's not strictly necessary — you can still use this method to make great pork chops even without brining — but if you have some extra time, I recommend it.
Apple and pork are a classic combination in culinary traditions. This drink compliments pork tenderloin recipes having subtle spices. The hot drink accentuates the meat and also keeps you warm on a cold winter's night.
While there are a number of ways to cook pork chops for dinner, baking is arguably the easiest path to perfection. The hands-off cooking method cooks pork chops gently and evenly without the need for extra fat, resulting in juicy, healthier pork chops that pair well with practically any side dish.
15 mins on a grill flipping both sides until the juice seeps out the surface of meat, then take off grill, rest for 1-2 minutes then enjoy ! No more so than any other meat. Tender cuts, like tenderloins and chops, don't need to be cooked for a long time. In fact too long will toughen them.
It helps prevent moisture loss during cooking, and the salt also helps tenderize the meat from the inside out. If you want an extra juicy piece of pork, brine it before cooking. You can make an effective brine just with salt and water, but additional seasonings do help.
For a pork dish, fruits make great garnishes. Use items such as slices of an orange or spiced apples with pork. Lamb can be served with a garnish such as mint or even fried bananas.
