Father's Day Gift Guide For Dads Who Love Food (2024)

If the dad in your life loves grilling, good grub, brews and bacon - I have the PERFECT list of Father’s Day gifts that are sure to make dad smile!

Picking out gifts for men is HARD! I struggled for a long time trying to pick out gifts for my dad but finally found out why. He doesn’t like golf or tools or doing yard work. He likes delicious food (I know where I get it from now!) and cooking. If your dad doesn’t enjoy yard work or getting power tools as a present, I have the list for you!

Grilling Tool Kit

If there's any sort of "tool kit" my dad likes, it's a grilling tool kit. There are plenty of them out on the market, but we like stainless steel ones because they are likely to spend an accidental night outside. We also used ours for a very long while and stainless steel lasts quite a bit longer than utensils with wooden handles. Trust me on this one. Nobody likes funky wooden handles when they're manning the grilling station.

So this gift might be a little more my speed because I am pizza's #1 fan, but we LOVE cooking pizza on the grill and a proper pizza pan with vented holes will give you that smoky flavor without putting it directly on the grates. Do I still put it directly on the grates sometimes? You bet, but most times I wish I had used the pan because I'm not always the best at cleaning the grill from its previous use. See above grill kit and remind me how to use the grill brush for cleaning.

Grill Pan

Not unlike the pizza grill pan, this regular stainless steel grill pan is perfect for grilling delicate items such as flaky fish or vegetables that usually find themselves flopping down into the grates. I'm looking at you, asparagus and little slices of zucchini. If you know you'll be grilling for Father's Day, a grill pan might be in order.

Buffalo Bob’s 10 Piece Exotic Jerky

No Father's Day would be complete without a weird collection of meats for dad to try. I originally bought my fiance an exotic jerky crate fromMancrates.comfor his birthday one year. It's cute because you have to actually pry the crate open with a crowbar to get your tasty snacks. If you're looking to save some $$ and skip the crate destroying experience, this jerky has pretty high ratings on Amazon. I didn't try the jerky, but my fiance liked them a lot and it was a fun/unique gift.

Omaha Steaks

Do you ever get those mailers in the (mostly) junk mail coupon booklets? I always go through them and hardly ever buy anything using them because most of the coupons are for new roofs or plumbing. However, every once in awhile Omaha Steaks will advertise in there with a good deal on one of their packages. They might even have coupon codes flying around the internet. I was skeptical about ordering meat over the internet, but it came on the day it said it would be shipped in a styrofoam cooler, packed with dry ice. All of the meats were delish and we had plenty to spare and keep in the freezer for a later date. It's the Father's Day gift that keeps on giving!

A Grill

In the rare event that your dad doesn't have a good & functioning grill - we LOVE our Weber and use it all summer long. Highly recommend.

Smoker

Although we don't have a smoker (yet), I've only heard good things about all the ribs, chicken and brisket you can smoke in a smoker. Apparently real BBQ is best from a smoker.Annnnd now I'm hungry.

Brooklyn Beer Shop Beer Making Kit

This kit was so much fun to do together. I'm a big fan of giving gifts that are more like experiences (or produce more experiences) than simply just...things. Making beer is cool and interesting and also tests your patience a little bit because you have to wait for everything to ferment before you can enjoy the beer. We had an overall good time doing it and used the Everyday IPA kit.

Grolsch Bottles for Bottling Beer

The kit above doesn't come with bottles to individually bottle the beer, but suggests you use a flip top bottle for bottling. We chose to buy a few bottles of Grolsch, drink them and then use the cleaned out bottles for bottling, but you could also buy these for any future beer-making endeavors.

Assorted Bacon Gifts

Some dads like eating bacon, other dads like silly bacon gifts. Either way, there's bound to be a fun bacon gift you can give as a Father's Day gift. I'm all for edible bacon gifts!!
