The Family Man Season 3 sets a new benchmark for Prime Video India, delivering a record-breaking start that has audiences buzzing.
The third season of The Family Man, a high-stakes spy-action thriller, premiered on November 21 and quickly dominated Prime Video India’s charts. In its first week, it captured 96% of India’s postcodes and ranked among the top five in more than 35 countries, including the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, and Malaysia. This launch marks the strongest opening the franchise has ever seen, surpassing the performance of its two previous seasons and outpacing every other title on the platform this year.
Raj & DK, the creators, directors, and writers, expressed their enthusiasm, noting that the overwhelming response after a four-year wait validates the effort put into making the series bigger, better, and more entertaining for the audience.
Nikhil Madhok, Prime Video India’s director and head of originals, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the show’s gripping storyline, standout performances, and Raj & DK’s signature flair for quirky, distinctive storytelling and heart-stopping thrills. He emphasized that these elements have helped The Family Man become a beloved audience favorite.
Season 3 features Manoj Bajpayee in the lead role, with Jaideep Ahlawat and Nimrat Kaur joining the cast as new additions. Returning cast members include Sharib Hashmi, Priyamani, Ashlesha Thakur, Vedant Sinha, Shreya Dhanwanthary, and Gul Panag.
The season was created by Raj & DK under their D2R Films banner and was written by the duo in collaboration with Suman Kumar, with dialogues by Sumit Arora. Direction was handled by Raj & DK along with Suman Kumar and Tusshar Seyth, who joined as a director for this season.
Since its debut on Prime Video in 2019, The Family Man has maintained strong popularity with both viewers and critics across all three seasons.
